Hotel van de Kasteelen is  a small, family-run property; yet the standard of service is what you’d expect from a larger, higher-rated hotel.

I liked the sunroom for my morning meal; nice relaxed to start to day, breakfast was btw real good.

You’re in walking distance of the busy center squares like Leidseplein (about a 15-minute walk) and popular museums (Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum are practically in the back yard). But you’ve got the small-village feeling in the big city.

Modern comforts with a taste of old-fashioned detail in the heart of Amsterdam’s Museum Quarter. Nice place!
